Our mission was to educate Canadians on the benefits of moderation or restraint in the use of alcohol and/or drugs and to encourage everyone to Be The Best You Possible by making a promise not to misuse alcohol and drugs!
Be You Promise.Org is an organization based in Victoria BC. The primary goal of BeYouPromise.org was to provide engaging and inspiring preventative educational programs, while discussing the negative consequences associated with addictions and the misuse of substances.

The average age of drug use in Canada begins at 15.7 years old.
60% of illicit drug users in Canada are between the ages of 15-24 years of age.
Each year, approximately 5,000 young people under the age of 21 die as a result of underage drinking.
Female addicts are 54% more likely to die prematurely because of their drug use.The most recent comprehensive cost study in 2002 estimated the total cost of alcohol-related harm to Canadians to be $14.6 billion per year. This figure includes the following annual costs:
$7.1 Billion in lost productivity due to disability and premature death.
$3.3 billion for direct health care costs.
$3.1 billion for direct enforcement costs.
